Sorry Surf Chunk,, I thought you were one of the new "Breed" , you tricked me

If you were Old in the 1980's then you must know the Haackster, JohnO, Clyde, and Stanley, and the RedHead
they were the folks that were there before me and the ones that taught me. And that is not including folks like the Twins, JoeMullet, Kenny and rest of the Avon crowd

It was a lot harder to learn in those days, I had to bait bitch, survive verbal and physical altercations, starve to death trying to survive on a barren stretch of sand, all and all though it sure beat working for a living:cool:

I mostly use Daiwas and 525Mags with 1509's and twenty pound, but if all I had to fish with was a SurfStick my 8600 or 9000's and 25 pound test, I would still get bowed up, maybe not quite as much as with the 13 foot rods, but enough to make it viable...life has me off the beach at the moment so I just talk trash about fishing ...

Well I didn't start surf fishing till 12.5 years ago ... and I might not have been an old man in the 80's but by then I had lived alot ... I love to fish for anything but Surf Fishin is my fav by far and I have came a long ways I just wish I could be on the sand more

No, that would be me... But you've already figured that one out. ;)

That's a rougher life than I've ever lived. Much respect.
