What's in the Flounder's stomach?

Thought you might be interested.

I caught flounder this weekend just west of Lynnhaven inlet, past the apartment hi-rises. Caught them on my flyrod using a black, rattle clouser I tied. All were small, just over keepers.

Here is what I found in the stomachs...

It's a lady crab (Ovalipes sp). They're all over the oceanfront surf. I think they are sometimes called swimming crabs too. Reds, trout, and the like suck them up like candy.

I caught one with a 1/2 oz lead head in his belly, I took it out and put it in my tackle box.

I've heard of flounder stuffed with Crab meat, but not the whole crab...lol
