Is the 560l a slammer? And what is the 7500?

 

Per the model numbers the 560L is a slammer with dual drags(Live Liner) and the 7500 is part of the spinfisher line from Penn.

As for the best choice, not really sure. The only reel that I have owned is the 560L, it's a little heavy. It'll be good for larger fish and soaking bait, but I wouldn't want to cast it all day.

 

The 7500 is pretty heavy too. They're both built pretty tough, but I'd go with the 560L. Its more versatile. I don't really know about the pursuit.

 

Well i am gonna try to catch a little bit of everything.....I am going to be in Daytona beach for a week and i was going to do a little surf fishing and from the pier as well...i think i am going to try my luck with some bottom fishing and maybe hook up with a ray or smaller shark.

I tried my luck last year and came up empty as far as surf and pier fishing go,plus i know my rod and reel were crummy.
