Hell pier and surf people, I just picked up a Penn Levelline 350 w/ patended level wind and it was a steal for $10 at garage sale. My question is spooling on line and how that works? I spooled it on with line running over leveler then down under cross bar and out to eye let on rod but it doesn't seem right help.

That thing looks crazy! Does the levelwind mechanism work as well as a traditional levelwind?
