Took my daughter out for her first fishing trip. Fished the outgoing tide between 1100-1300. Used a bottom rig with frozen shrimp and live worms. Lots and lots of small/medium sized croaker. Everybody on the pier pretty much had a bucket/cooler full of them (we kept 17). Saw one gentleman pull in a flounder. Too far down the pier to know if the size or if he even kept it.

Careful, if she is anything like my daughter, she'll be out fishing you in no time. I bet live finger mullet or 5 & 7 inch gulp jerk shads would get you a big flounder about now at the Coast Guard pier.
