Hit the York at dead high tide Saturday night for some striper action on my buddy's boat. Launched at GP, and poked around the bridge for a few, but nothing much going on. Saw a couple kayaker's but didn't see them doing much. We headed downriver to a secret spot by my buddy's boss's dock. This is where the fun began. 2 hours of non-stop catching. First fish in the boat was 17.75" puppy drum (lucky short bastage...I wanted to catch and grease, but back in he went to get that other .25") Not what I was expecting, but OK. Continued tossing Gulp's and caught our limit of striper, a bunch of short flatfish, and I caught 5 pups total. A little chilly on the ride back, but a great night on the water. :D
