friday evening i set out for drum with my surf rod and inshore rod...surf rod had cut mullet and i threw around a gulp on a jig to keep myself occupied while i waited for a drum to inhale the bait....well no drum...mainly because the blue fish were so thick i couldnt keep a bait out for more than 2-3 minutes....caught five flounder on the gulp...but they were all undersized..
saturday afternoon i went only with the inshore rod in some hopes of trout in the inlet...caught my limit...3 were in the 16-18 inch range and the 4th was so big the entire time i thought it was a drum until i got it on the beach.....25 1/4 inches 5.2 pounds 1st citation!
