I use a left hand bait caster from one of my bass rods, that way I can control the rise and fall of the rig and reel in without having to switch hands.Hey Jolly what reel are you using.
It's a love or hate relationship with them . Taste Grate..Less Filling.I absolutely F-ing hate sabiki rods. Jollymon will tell you how ill i speak of them. Had one for about a month and sold it at a loss.
Sabikis are one and done for me. Usually missing hooks and frayed after a couple hours catching bottom bait and snagging fat back.
Ditto. I found a brand at Gander Mtn that is 3 rigs for 1.99. I hate the damn things but they work. I use them in the surf for bait and letting the kids catch sea rats. I will use them till all the hooks are gone and toss the rest with the cut line for the day.Sabikis are one and done for me.
I to use the rigs once, But we're talking about the rods, There's no better way to deal with 6 or 8 flailing hooks then to reel them in to a sabiki rods (tube)Ditto.
