I'm thinking of buying a new reel for distance casting and maybe light fishing. Narrowed down to these few reels, any one casted all of them before can give comments?

a) Penn 525MAG (slidy)
b) Penn 525MAG-T (knobby)
c) Daiwa SL20SH
d) Daiwa SL20SHV
e) ABU 5500 CT MAG Elite
f) ABU 6500 CT MAG Elite

Here's what I know so far...
The 525's HT100 drags are fantastic; the SL20SH is a good reel; the ABU's drags sucks! Sad part is, I've not casted any of the reels before expect the ABUs..

I've a ABU 6500 MKII and a 5500 CS(CT) pro rocket already. Rod to be used for casting is a Zziplex LT14. I tend to favour the 525s because they are supposed to be rugged, fast retrieve speed and magged. On the other hand, the Daiwas seems pretty good too! Can anyone advise please?

For light fishing, is a superior drag really needed? I use converted ABU Blue Yonders for tournament work. For fishing, I use a ABU CTC3 Mag Elite. I'm also looking for a Penn 525 slidey strictly for fishing.
