Hey everybody I will be in Myrtle beach the end of April. We are staying at The Caroloina Grande at 110 North Ocean Blvd. Where is the nearest pier to fish. Or would you just stick to the beach.

Thanks in advance

The Carolina Grande is on 2503 N. Ocean BLVD. The address you listed is for the lighthouse @ 2nd street pier.

The closest to where you'll be staying is Pier 14 and then 2nd Ave followed by Springmaid.

I don't really fish on piers but I like the atmosphere @ springmaid the best and I usually see people catching fish when I take my kid there for icecream.

Either way, have fun.

Pier 14 is not a bad pier at all and the food is decent at the little restaurant there also lol. Just make sure you fish to the right as there is a group of rocks off the left side of the pier which likes to eat rigs.
