Does anyone know where the croakers are bitting? I'm planning a fishing trip for Saturady the 21st but I'm not sure where to go. Also, are the croakers bitting better in the day or night? Are there any hot spots in Virginia or Maryland. Any advice would be very much appreciated.

yep the croakers biting about everywhere bays tidal rivers back bay creeks they started early april im in rich va colonial parkway.. rappahannock rivers .. james riiver piers .. all the piers around th beaches are doing good i usually get mine during th day towards th evening

Hey thughesfish why don't u join us at the choptank pier p&s get together on sat morning the 21st. I am sure you will get some croakers there and some spot and perch. And if you are lucky probably a striper or two!

Thanks for the information. Unfortunately, I can't go Saturady morning. I will probably fish off the Olympus headboat, Lexington Park, MD. May be the next time. I'll post my results.
