I saw a video that said, you put the line through the eye, with the hook point below it. This will help make sure the fish is not lost. DO you guys do this as well??
The only times it comes into play is any knot that involves the line staying on the shank of the hook like snelling or dropper loops, as it controls the direction of the hook.
