The HI temperature as reported from the Cape Hatteras School was an unseasonal 79.

Todays Forcast ... Showers and scattered thunderstorms. Highs 71 to 76. Windy. South winds 20 to 25 mph. Chance of rain 90 percent..



OREGON INLET OFFSHORE: Lots of Tuna, scattered Dolphin, King Mackerel and Wahoo.

HATTERAS OFFSHORE: The boats brought back fair to good catches of King Mackerel along with Yellowfin & Blackfin Tuna, Dolphin and Wahoo.

HATTERAS INSHORE: No report.



RODANTHE, SALVO AREA: Sea Mullet, Spot and Blowtoads.

AVON AREA: Bluefish, Puppy Drum, Spot, Sea Mullet, small Pompano, Black Drum and Blowtoads.

Frank & Frans Tournament Results: 11 big Drum caught, the winner 46 1/2 in.

The Avon Pier Tournament Results: 2 big Drum caught, the winner 48 1/2 in.

THE POINT & BUXTON: Sea Mullet as well as Blowtoads, Black Drum, and Pompano. There were a few Drum landed at the Point this PM.

SOUTH BEACH & FRISCO AREA: No report.

HATTERAS BEACHES: No report.



OCRACOKE: Puppy Drum, Black Drum, Bluefish, Flounder, Sea Mullet, Spot, Croaker & Puffers The boaters are catching Gray Trout, Flounder, Puppy Drum and Black Drum in the sound.

The F&F Tourny had 23 puppy drum and one big drum... I was there.

As of Saturday evenin, the Avon Pier Tourny had no drum at all... course that may have changed.
