we all just got back from a week in avon. mainly there for the hatteras village tournament but fished all week. fished ramps 30, 38, and 55 mostly. did hit he new point the first couple mornings in buxton. got some pups and blues and a few spanish there. all pups just over the slot. some nice blues at 55 lots of little bait stealing pompano everywhere. all tournament stations were on 48 and 49 with tons of skinny water and slow fishing. our friends took first we finished 18th of 50 teams in tournament. all were caught on cut bait except the blues and spanish at the point they were on spoons.

Thanks for the report. I can't stand it so we coming down next week for 4-5 days and return for 3 weeks in October in to early November and probably blast back down for a week later in November..........When you get to my age you wonder how many more with good health you have left. I do not want to be in a bed at some point thinking about why i did not go when I could ......yeah it cost a lot but I am yet to see anyone take a dime with them.

Be down near end of October till middle of November. Probably right after the bit happens just like every other year. lol Just looking fwd to being on the sand again.
