Nice meeting you for a brief moment. I'm the Asian guy that you saw. Nice dinner
We kept on moving away from the pier until we found a spot they were in.Trying to go fishing this Friday. Where should we go? Where can we fish from Waysons Corner?
The pier isn't necessarily a bad spot. Of my 3 outings there, it was the only spot fish were being caught. Try in and around the bridge pilings depending on which way the piling is blocking out the current. Anytime I am bottom fishing, I will move after 15-20 minutes of no hits if access allows me to.We kept on moving away from the pier until we found a spot they were in.
How do I get to the fishing spot in Waysons Corner? Is it fresh or saltwater? Was out today in the morning fish from 730 till 9 got half a bucket.
20-25 cars on a weekday? Usually 3 dozen+ on weekends. The water is def mostly fresh, but keep in mind MD does tidal vs non-tidal instead of fresh/salt. Yes, the yellow perch do run through there, but I quick going there now that I have spots to myself on the eastern shore.Waysons corner is where Route 4 crosses the patuxent river, and the address is roughly "1589 Southren Maryland Blvd Lothian, MD 20711". The dock is at the end of malboro road, and from my memory it's freshwater but I vaugly remember hearing about someone catching crab there. Also it looked packed today from route 4 (20-25 cars) as I passed on the way back from shark tooth hunting the calvert cliffs.
That was a dumb question from the Eastern Shore. LOL! I think you all use minnows and worms on bottom rigs. There I answered my own question. Good luck guys!!Nice! I might hit Red Bridges for some white perch this morning. Did you catch them on blood worms?
where else can i go to catch white perch... can anyone PM me a location thats not so busy. I know must run offs or creeks should have some. The MD Coastal & Bay Sport License aka the tidal license is required to fish @ Wayson's Corner. The wp are thick now.
