I've read several posts regarding striper feeshen at Chix-Duk-in;all suggest waden out to the first bar.I thought the current was'a rippen' thru there.How do you get out there????the R

The first bar I believe is at the CBBT.

Lesner wading can be done on the boat ramp side but you need to know the area, it is very dangerous.

You've got to be careful wading. I took a dive in waist waders in January. Would have drowned if someone to help wasn't there. Waist waders try to float you with your feet up and head down, so think about it. There are times when the fish are right up to the beach feeding especially at night, you'd be wading right past them and of course "spooking" them.
