If I can get away, may head down to the coast tomorrow to meet a friend at Va beach. I have surf cast the NC coast, but not Va, so where around Va beach would be good? Have to keep a check on the storm headed in.

Fishing the beach might be tough with the holiday crowd...you could try the rail and rocks at Rudee Inlet or one of the beach piers (Virginia Beach Fishing Pier or Lynnhaven Fishing Pier).

go to backbay your best option wont be crowded there with swimmers, sunbathers etc not allowed
