I had heard that snook were stacked up on the beaches. Well i saw firsthand today its true, around the Venice pier anyway. Got there around seven this morning and you could see like 20 nice snook at any given time. I usually fish Eljobean but I liked this much better. Caught 3 nice snook on pins, some whiting and somes mangos. You could see all kinds of fish in the water. It was a blast. My son is down from NC and he had a great time also. He likes the gulf much better than the atlantic.

there were all sizes down there. some in the 20's, some in the 30's and larger.

Thanks. Any size to the snapper? Last summer I was catching some decent 15 inchers from the south jetty on live shrimp and small sardines.
