Headed to Chincoteague Friday to fish the suds. Anyone had any luck there or seen any reports? Thinking of renting a boat and drifting inshore for flounder if no luck on the beach. Any word on how that's been?
Weather doesn't look great, although that's not always bad for the bite.

Would love to meet any of you characters who might be out there.

Check the Maryland board for AI posts. Someone just broke the Maryland state record for striper was caught on May 11, in the AI surf, 54 pounds, 52 inches. There is a picture of it on the stripersforever , and tidalfish boards. I have been reading about good catches of flounder also. Have fun.

Thanks for the help Fishwagon. Saw the pic of that record rock. Amazing. Do we know if it was female? If so, how much more would she have weighed pre-spawn loaded w/ roe?
I hope the weather doesn't ruin this weekend's fishing, but it's always something ya just gotta overcome.
Tight lines!
