A 105 pound CNN reporter, standing out in the 70 mile an hour winds right at Vriginia Beach, said that "a peir" a couple blocks from where they are standing had the end of it ripped off from the waves.

Cdog and poleant confirmed it!

I heard about it at work and I instantly had flashbacks to fishing that pier. It's been a year or so since I've been there, but I loved that place. Hopefully it gets built back pronto.:(

Emanuel, you have no idea how bad everything around Tidewater is. Almost nothing is left standing. Lynnhaven--gone. Harrison's--gone. Buckroe--heavily damaged. Sandbridge and Grandview--no one knows. Va. Beach--heavily damaged.
