Perhaps the only good thing that came out of Matthew. Kill all of our sand fleas again, and see what happens. Just dumped all that sand on the beach beginning of 2016.
Tybee Pier update, still broke.....
For those interested, Tybee Island Pier remains CLOSED due to damage caused by hurricane Matthew. Word is that Chatham County is dragging their feet on repairs. Fire works and Polar Bear Plunge still planned for New Years at the pier. Pavilion is open for business.
Next years fishing should improve at Tybee pier as erosion from Matthew has made for deeper water that was much needed.
