Hope everyone is having a good Friday. I did.

Man the whiting bite was on today. The end of the falling and begining of the rising where to the point I never used the sand spoke or my chair. By the time I left the surf and was heading towards the spike there was another whiting hitting the shrimp. Was a lot of fun even though the heaver never got a hit and my first ever Sputnik lasted 10 mins in the water before being lost to a snag. My buddie came out and hung out for a while but he missed the bite. (Or did he? I never seem to catch anything with him there!). Great day after work hope everyone else had or will have some bent poles or screaming drags. Can't wait for tomorrow's go.

I'll try to fix the pic orientation later, gotta get cleaned up and head to dinner.

Nice report. Sounds like a great way to spend a Friday afternoon. Sure beats the concrete jungle I'm in. :fishing:

Man, that's a great report! Thanks for sharing. Glad you got into some fish. I've had good luck in that stretch of beach to. Well done. I'm very pleased to have another Tybee guy posting up, keep um' coming.

Thanks for your help, I wouldn't have thought to head out to that stretch with out your help. Once I remember my photobucket login I'll use that. And yeah that's the last time I invite him fishing with me!

I think we all have that "one friend" that seems to be a bad luck charm and either everything goes wrong on the water.....or you just simply don't catch fish.
