Got to Tuckahoe a few minutes before 6am today. 1st car there. Next truck did not show up until after 7am. Last year was packed by 7. Eeked out a limit. Missed alot of strikes. Seems like half the fish this year are Golden's andone of the stockings was a lot of small fish. Still a nice relaxing day. Bite completely shut down at 10 am.

Yes CYT, all were caught on power bait. The multi color balls broken into two pieces.

Andy, in my limited experience there, the best spots are near the bridge in the slow deeper water. As you get away from the bridge it gets shallower and faster. This isn't like the traditional stocked streams on the other side of the bridge where they stock the fish all along the river. A truck stops on the bridge and dumps them straight into the water. I doubt most of them leave the immediate slow water area.

Good points Aaron, I fished down stream away from the crowed area, didn't see a damn thing.
Any fish that do swim down stream probably get intercepted by the family of river otters living down there.
