Fished Tuckahoe for trout Saturday for the first time. Got there at 7:30 thinking I would beat the crowd. Wrong. Left at 11:30 with two fish. Back at 6:30 am This morning with smaller hooks and got a better spot. 5 fish limit in by 6:51 am. Not sure how to add pics.

Was using the Berkley trout bait in hot pink. Size 12 hook with half a piece of the trout bait. Must completely bury the hook. Saw nothing except trout being caught. Tried Hillsboro for yellow perch on Saturday for 30 minutes with minnows on top bottom rigs with no luck.

Let me know how you make out. I like in Wye Mills. Been driving passed the spillway a lot and not seeing much activity. We were hiking at Martinak about a month ago and people were at the Pavilion over Watts Creek getting a slow pick at the perch. First weekend in March there is a quarry pond in Greenwood DE that gets stocked with trout that we are going to try out.

I don't think you are going to see yellow perch at Wye Mills like it used to be. DNR says beavers have blocked down stream pretty good making it tough for the perch to make it all the way to the spillway

Not many people fishing there. That's good. Think there is any trout left? Should be some yellows or a few white perch showing up. You think? I have been getting a mix of crappie , white and yellow perch. The last few mornings.

It was much more crowded than the pic shows. Atleast 2 dozen people. I have to believe they are still there to catch. Its new to me so I'm not sure how long it takes before they start eating natural food as opposed to "match the hatch" Berkley trout pellets. I think another 500 will go in later this month but not sure.

I stopped by that area.....(Sunday)........so crowded. I still have not understood the hype for trout. Of 5 trout outings in my life, I only succeeded once on stocked trout. 2 were skunkage trips and the other 2 were just 2 of the dozen's of trout in a mountain stream who attacked my spinner.

I finished the day with 9 eating-size (12-20 inches) catfish out of the Choptank. I assume the white and yellows are further up the river or there are more fish downstream that have not moved up yet.
