I was in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea this weekend. I usually fish at the Anglin's Fishing Pier when I am down there, however it is under repair. I was dissappointed. Just and FYI. I went to the Fishermans Wharf Pier in Pompano instead. A ton of big Spanish being caught on bubble leaders!
Anyway, I was casting a D.O.A. and caught what I thought was a real big needle-fish. When I pulled him up it was a big
Trumpet Fish. This was my first time ever catching one! It was a very beautiful fish. Anyone else ever catch one?
Caught some small Mangroves as well.
Overall a bad trip! Very windy!

Couldn't wait to get back to Smyrna!

Fish On!
