To tell you the truth I'll be down there the exact same week! I stay at the KOA campground next the pier. Do you stay at a campground or do you rent a house? And if you've never been to the restaurant TOP DOG, you gotta go. It's right down the street from the pier on your left if youre going south. They have the BEST hamburgers.
actually we stay in midgett realty and yea ive ben to top dog many times. where we stay is about 1/4 mile from the pier. ill prolly go to the pier a few times so i hope to see u on there. and i hope the fishing picks up i hear its not doin to good right now.
Yea I went down a few weeks ago for a day trip and the only thing biting were little(and I mean little) spot. A couple guys at the end got some huge bites and one of they got of the fish right next to the pier but the line snapped. I'll be the one with my dad and we have a bright yellow cart with grey wheels. Hope to see you there
Hey Trip &DR......You guys brought back memories of when I was 17 or so and me and my feeshn bud would hit the planks on the OBX.There is ALWAYS sumpin big lurkin in the waters and the anticipation of catchin it cant be duplicated.Fish hard, know the species and you will prolly catchem.Nothin better than workin up a big appetite, smellin those planks, then smellin and woofin down a big ,juicey burger!!Remember:he might not of picked up your bait this time ,but ya know he definately swam by and checked it out!!!......good luck...the R
