I've never seen a tripod for holding a fishing rod.
Is this any better than a PVC tube?

Easier to transport
Sets up faster and easier
Holds three rods
Holds my backpack with fishing supplies
Enables me to watch all three rod tips at the same time since they are in close proximity to each other
Enables me to reach all three rods from one location (seated or standing)
Frees my hands to do other things
