There was a thread a little while ago but I cannot find it, my search skills failed me.

I am looking for a travel rod for pier/shore (wash) and backwater fishing.

I have narrowed it down to a couple rods and want to know if anyone has any input about them.

They are as follow:
Tsunami Travel Surf Rod - 8'6" 3/4-3oz or 9'3" 1/2-2oz

Tsunami Travel Inshore - 7' 3/4-2oz

I am also looking for other suggestions in above rod ranges in the $75-150 range. I would like it to be 7-8' (+/-) and has to be spinning. This is not a super serious rod, just for soaking bait while the wifey is sleeping in. It will be mated to a 2500-4000 spinning reel. Thank all

Other possibilities

Ocean Master 7' 5/8 - 2 1/4oz ( little more than I want to spend for a Bass Pro Rod)

Okmua has a couple options but the only exp I have with Okuma products has not been the greatest, but it was with some of their middle to lower end reels. Am I missing out or should they be passed over?
