Freshwater. Local ponds.

May is prime time to hit the DE or MD surf. Most of the largest striped bass are taken then. Personally, May is the month I like to fish Assateague Island National Park OSV (over the sand vehicle) area. 13 miles of beautiful drive on beach.

That early you can try Moms beach and Fort DuPont above the C and D Canal. Augustine Beach to Woodland beach in the Delaware river and the Flats area of the Chesapeake. Catch and release in the flats and above the C and D canal in the Delaware.

depends what u want to fish for....
i suggest headboats of carolinas if u really want some nice fish.... i perfer Morehead city,NC and North Mtyle beach SC. i had so much good trips on those.... or even if spring mackerel run or blues are running them piers anit bad for gatcha fishing. overall depend what u want to target... Snakeheads/cats/perch/rocks/seatrout./flounder./seabass.
