It has been kind of slow here, so I thought I share some recent pics:

Caught some grunts here. My buddy caught a nice sheepie.

Hit FT Walton beach for some Whiting/Sea Mullet/Roundhead/Kingfish --> Awesome eats!!

Released a Bonefish

Caught a MESS of kingies from the surf. If this was at MD, my spot would have been mugged. The folks on the pier must not have been paying attention to what I was hauling in. LOL!!!

Next day, went right back, but hit the pier instead. The day before, I fished in front of where that white box is located.
See that cut on the left of the box? I slaughtered them there. Caught bunch more this day, but larger than the day before.

The pic doesn't do much justice. The water is completely green and the sand is powdery white.

Released this blue runner

Caught 2 nice pompano. A 13'' and 13.5'' respectively.

Tuner, Sam & Pat - All nice pics, thanks for sharing!

That's my 1st thought. Is that a juvie snook?

With some cold weather moving in, let's see some more FLA fish pics.

One thing I forgot to mention is we just arrived at the end of the King Mac run from what I heard from the locals. One dude caught a handful of cigar minnows to target what is left,

Sam & AndyPat: Please settle this question for me. When me and my buddy were on the pier, we could see this HUGE fish on the bottom. It is black and has a wide girth. From above water, it looks like a Goliath Grouper. But the locals say it was a sturgeon. They actually threw jigheads with plastic but didn't take. One dude did hook one but never got the fish to the surface for me to take a look as it broke the line. So, in your opinion, is that what it is?

Lastly, there was a pod of Jacks, they swam by 200ft of the pier then swung back out in one spot all day. I threw Lucky Craft at them, but no taker.

Pretty exciting.

Pretty hard to say what that big fish was. So many large fish around the piers in FL. On one of our piers a guy had trout on a stringer tide to the pier. The pier started shacking. It was a wood pier. A large grouper was pulling on his stringer. His trout were gone. You want more FL. pictures? How about some MD. Small mouth and large mouth bass pictures from long ago before I got salt in my blood.
