Trolled around the Narrows from about 7:30-1:00, managed several blues in the 12"-17" range and 2 small stripers about 10"-13". Not a huge amount of action but nice to finally get out after 2 weeks of rainy weather. Blues were destroying my 5" Storm Shads, gonna have to buy a new bag of em. Stripers hit a curly tail grub on a 3/4oz jig. No drum seen. Pic of one of the blues attached.

Those blues are lots of fun, but you are right, they will surely put a hurting on the soft plastics!
