I am not looking for a secret spot. I don't own a four wheel drive vehicle and will be fushing I. Front of the rental at 153 Lindsay lane in the pine island reserve subdivision. I am not asking for tips and or tactics. I was simply seeing if there was a shop worth going too, and if there is still a reasonable chance of fishing wing around.

I do appreciate the response sea and suggestions. Thank you

Gotcha... I was just messin with ya anyway....

No need to post the address unless you are inviting us over for dinner and beer.

On your way down depending on what your route is.. Checkout Greentop it is off exit 86 I think is the number.. You will love that store.. The fishing Dept is to your left when you enter the store. My "go to guy" is Gabe... He has been around since the old store. I like it better than Bass Pro which is in the neighborhood. Great pricing and selection... Maybe you'll find some mirrolures you don't have.

We will also be staying on Lindsay Lane next yr. so keep us posted on fishing results, on PM if needed to avoid unwanted responses. Will be our first trip to the area, looking forward to it. Good luck fishing and have a safe holiday.

I will post fishing reports. I try to every year we go. I am sure there are some June reports from pine knoll shores.

Thank you for the tip on the shop... I am addicted to buying mirror lures.

Made a cool shadow box last year for my nephew with one. Will post a picture of it.

my 2c: u will be doing a lot of shivering and not that much catching, well maybe a skate or two. next time would book your rental much further south, hatteras/frisco.

+1 on the greentop recommendation, best saltwater selection, usually come out of that place at least 100$ poorer than when i came in, u will not find a finer outdoors store in va. i go there at least several times a year.
