Guys, I went out to Dam Neck beach saterday and had a blast.

9-10 Roundheads in the 9-14" range.

2 Taylor Blues 14 " or so.

2 smaller stripers around 17-18 "

3 Mr Skates

All fish dehooked without much damage and released.

I wanted to ask what particular bait or techniques would be the best for catching the Taylors. That little guy is a snappy little fighter. I loved the zig zagging fight they gave, along with a small leap.

Having good success with a 1 oz castmaster with a glass minnow teaser on the hook......

Vary your retrieves...sometimes they'll hit slow,but some times they want to hit it on the top.....

All my Mirro lures have produced on snappers and taylors,I have taken the front barbs off and replaced the rear barbs with a size 1 hook.
