Has anyone used these for fishing soft plastics? I know they're great to use when you're wanting to switch through multiple plugs. I'm thinking about trying them to switch out my soft plastics so I don't have to continuously retie when I want to try a different color soft plastic/jig-head combo.

I haven't tried that clip. I usually use Gemini Genie Clips or small McMahon snaps. It's sure nice being able to switch quickly.

Seen the Tactical Anglers clips but they seem huge...definitely wouldn't straighten out under load.

I catch smaller stuff and use the Offshore Angler Duo Lock Snaps. Theoretically it could unlock but I have not had it happen yet.

I use Duo Lock snaps all the time. On my freshwater baitcaster for swapping baits, on all of my hand-tied saltwater rigs for swapping out weights. I often use them at the end of my main line for salt water so I can swap rigs quickly. I don't get a lot of fishing time so I'd rather spend it fishing. I've never had a problem with break offs as long as you retie the snap once in a while or after a big catch, much like you would any other knot.

They aren't too large. I'd most likely be using the 50# Angler Clips.

I use the Bass Pro brand (SS fast snaps) when fishing with soft plastics/Gulps on jig heads. They work great and I think they give a little more action to the lure as well.

TA clips are beast, I used to use 80lb duo-locks but after having a few fish this spring open them wide I won't mess with them again. I use the 125lb TA's

Those always looked cool but I was worried how they would hold in the long run or with big fish or big casts

They are pretty tough, I've never had one open. I use them to quickly change out pre-tied tog rigs when I get hung up fishing at the CBBT, I loose at least 5 rigs per trip to the pilings and boulders and the 40 lb fluorocarbon rig always gives first. I've yanked the heck out of them too.

TA clips are great. Up north here it seems like everybody uses them. 30-40# stripers, no problem.

I use 30 lb braid and a 30 lb snap (#2 Duo Lock) for inshore stuff. Don't know if this is too little or too much but it has held up so far.

Picked some up made by Breakaway from BPS Concord today. Cheaper than the BPS ones and looked much better made. That and I like Breakaway products
