I didn't have time to go fishing this weekend, but I did have time to go check out Surfside Pier this evening. The water temps have jumped up to around 67 or 68 and the Spanish Macs were crashing jiggers big time on the rising tide this afternoon. Every jigger was catching fish and there must have been 50 or more in coolers out at the end of the pier. Those fishing further in didn't have as much luck. Bait fishermen were getting into occasional blues. Overall, it was very active on the rising tide.
