Who makes a good Surf Wader and what are some of the things to look for in waders?

Keeping my ass dry is what I look for..
Then Quality, Warranty, Customer Service

Breathable bootfoot. Orvis, Caddis, Snowbie, etc. Neoprene sucks, you'll get just as wet from sweating. I fish in breathable and duck hunt in breathables, just layer up when its cold.

I use my hunting waders. too expensive to have two pair. Cabela's Ultimate.

Breathable and for me stocking foot with a nice fitting boot. Had bootfoot for year but had constant foot pain and ankle pain. I have a heel spur on my left foot that causes a lot of problems on the beach so I switched to a pair of redington stocking foot with field and stream boots this year and the difference was unbelievable. Plus if your in a fairly clean area it's nice kicking the boots off and relaxing for a minute.

I heard LL Bean has a killer warrenty. since I cannot get a pair of waders to last more than a season, my next pair is going to come from Bean

I have LL Bean's stocking foot Emergers (new model) and have put close to 100 miles on them this season walking the sand and still completely dry.
