Water still feels cold but the bird action is picking up and I am starting to see quite a few bait pods 75-150 yards out.
Have only caught blue runner, hardheads and a few whiting. NO jacks--big surprise. No sharks on cut mullet heads, no rays on squid.
Hopefully in another week or two the spanish and tarpon will move in close enough for us shorebound guys to nail a few.
