Hello folks, new here to the forum and saltwater fishing. Question; what are some good starter locations for me to hit up the surf? Along with that, what are some good tackle shops to get advice and equipment? Already set up with my reels...

Try the app "fishing spots" for decent fishing locations. It's basically a google earth type map where other users can pin pictures of fish to where they caught them on the map.

Fishbrain is another app you could check out. I use it and I'd say it's proven to be helpful a few times.

Not yet. But I'm thinking of trying City Point in St. Lee. Does anybody know what species are the most common there?
