Been so many years since I fished there. I’m sure a lot has change as far as troughs, holes, etc. Baits always the same. Fresh baits the key. Put time in and hope for the best.
I fish there weekly from March thru November. Can be slow until the water warms up. Expect to find whiting, blowfish, and trout in March. Shrimp is best bait, the fresher the better.
Where are the best places north and south of Myrtle Beach to buy fresh shrimp for bait? I'm perfectly okay with buying food-grade shrimp if that's what works best .
Perry’s Bait and Tackle in Murrells Inlet, just north of Huntington Park, is one of the best bait shops on the east coast.
They always have both live and fresh dead shrimp.
