Went down to cherry grove for my sons birthday to fish and had decent success. Caught probably between 30 to 40 small sharks in 3 days of fishing. A bunch of smaller croakers and whiting and one Spanish mackerel. Used it all. Shrimp, cut mullet, croaker, and fish bites blood worms. Shrimp turned out to be the most productive of any of them. Found a patch on the beach that had pools and divets through the sand and at high tide fished those areas and had better success than anywhere else. Also did like some of you recommended and tied my own 2 hook setups and had a ton more success using those than the ones already made at the bait stores. Thanks guys for the help! My boy had a blast and hope this helps anyone going down soon.
