Hey all,
Have taken a break from the site due to a very busy work schedule. Fished at OBX a couple of weeks ago and caught a handful of croaker, several throw back blues, 3 rays, and a 2.5' shark. All in all a good vacation, even got a little surfing in!

So are people catching alot of throwback striper at SPSP now? And how about the blues and specs? have they started appearing this far north now that the water has warmed up? Just curious..... Tightlines and bent rods to all.

I think there's small stripers to be caught at SPSP. We hooked up with a small footlong striper about 2 weeks ago during the evening hours while fishing for croakers. I'm planning to take a trip there tonight and see if the action has turned towards any blues. Spots and other bait fish have shown up so it shouldn't be long until blues move in.
