Can any body Shed some light on a double hook rig I'm tiing for deep sea fishing next month I'm using A Gamma octapus 5/0 and I planned to use a treble stinger but I'm stumped at what size. FYI I will be using 6-9" baits , live and cut for snapper and grouper.:fishing:

You may want to avoid a treble hook for a stinger. A decent sized snapper or grouper will take their bait whole so the treble would cause nothing but problems if it was a short. Usually fish like bluefish, and king mackeral are the types of fish you use a treble hook in the tail section of a live bait to increase hook-ups. A larger circle hook may work better for you.
