Considering vbfp at daybreak for spanish. What's the word on the lip? I haven't seen any posts about it at all on here but word of mouth tells me there's been a bunch of cobia. Anybody care to confirm or deny?

Folks are typically tight lipped about the lip. It's a good Spanish pier, yet rather short. Spanish are also inside the bay, but oceanfront daybreak is a good bet.

If you decide to go to vbfp check the hr of operation. If they are closed rudees inlet is good to fish until the pier opens. Only five min or less from pier.spades might be in so bring clams..

Stopped by Seagull Pier last Friday then Sunday and nothing was going on. Didn't even see a croaker pulled up. The restaurant was busy....sad to see it go next year.

Yeah sorry about that, dude rubbed me the wrong way especially after seeing him in other threads.

The lip is where I caught my first Spanish but the end is usually clogged up with guys pin rigging.

I'm pretty sure they're 24 hr this time of year.

Few weeks ago I caught a few small spades on a sabiki with shrimp around the pylons there. Would be nice to get some founder though.

I think so. I've also heard that one should fish at dawn and dusk during this time of the year.

Why you giving the op a hard time You had nothing positive to add . You ask the same thing. In Multiple thread back in March when you wanted to go to fl or rudees for the trout and wanted to know where they were.

Yeah it's been a few years since I've been active here and was wondering why it's been so slow. Guess I found the reason.
