I am thinking of trying a St. Croix spinning rod for the surf. The model I am looking at is the Mojo surf rod in 11ft . Does anyone have opinion or experience with this rod?
Model: MSS110MHMF2 , priced at $250.00 on St. Croix website. Or does anyone offer advice of a different rod over the St. Croix.
To be used for whatever is biting out past the breakers, mainly soaker bait.

I've got one, it's all right. The daiwa coastal salt pro rods are nicer imo and cheaper. If you live in hampton roads I'll sell you the St Croix for 200 so I can go get another daiwa.

I have an 8'6 ben dor st croix. it's like 15 years old. I love this rod. Not sure how the new ones are? Just love the graphite this rod is made of.
I am looking to get another surf rod St Croix next year or something comparable

I saw that too, on the video clip on StCrox website, but were is it written, I emailed them to confirm and that's what I was told
