Went out to SP early satuday morning, fished from about 5:30-1:00pm. Overall it was pretty slow most of the time except when I hooked into to school of jumbo spot which kept me busy. I couldn't reel them in fast enough. Overall I pulled in about 10 large ones (8-12") but I lost about 10 more in the rocks around where I was fishing. Hooked into around 3-4 blues but they were small around 8". Also caught a skate as well. It was a good day overall, cool in the morning and clear skies.

You got that right although I cannot wait until I can hook into some of those blues that are above 18", they must be fun.

One of those spots that I caught was the largest I have ever seen, it was about 12" and was fat. It looked like a croaker but rounder and with that giant spot.
