Day one and two sucked fishing the end for big drum. A few trout and spanish hauled up. Flounder fished the rail to the hut for a couple hours and got few nibbles on jighead/gulp w gulp teaser. Thursday moved up to the suds. Cast netted mullet and chucked em whole in the suds. One carolina rig and one rod with a double bottom rig. 4 nice size blues and two slot spot tails. Ill fish the suds from now on.

Thanks for the report. I'm a suds guy not that I think suds fishing is better than plank fishing. I just like to put out a few rods, kick back and enjoy the piece and quiet. Although the sound of a clicker going off is just fine.

Sound of a clicker going of is what snaps me out of enjoying the view, then its game on. Sadly though I must admit the last couple clicker screenings have been 'what migh have been' and not what I landed. That is why it's called fishing and not catching though and what keeps us coming back for round two.

we were back down this past weekend. saturday nothing was biting, plenty of fingers in the suds but not takers. hit the end of the pier again, for some unknown reason, and did nothing but hook big ol sharks. back to the suds on sunday and wound up with a six pack of blues and ladies. green backs were rolling in all day. I'm heading back down in november when the water gets colder. and I'm only fishing the suds. ill leave the end for the kingfishers.
