SPECIES TEMP CHART
Red Dog took the time to make up this chart. It is tailored for OBX, but you can use the temps as a guideline anywhere within the species range.

Good information there. As you can see it goes by location. For example, up here, the BEST temp for Striper at that time of the year is between 50-55 degs.

Yup , there seems to be slight variation according to geographic location. Might be that the OBX striper strain is reared primarily in Pimlico/Chesapeak area , while the NJ/NY/Mass strain is reared primarily in the Hudson , with slightly cooler water temps.RuddeDogg

ya i started from the last page and started working down...lol. and think it was on page 420 ..lol. that is a big diff in temp, you would think it would be a lot closer than that..good stuff.:beer:
