Yup , there seems to be slight variation according to geographic location. Might be that the OBX striper strain is reared primarily in Pimlico/Chesapeak area , while the NJ/NY/Mass strain is reared primarily in the Hudson , with slightly cooler water temps.RuddeDogg
Good information there. As you can see it goes by location. For example, up here(NJ/NY/Mass), the BEST temp for Striper at that time of the year is between 50-55 degs.
