I had some time to kill yesterday down at the beach waiting to go eat, so i decided to do a quick walk through on the pier. I was down at springmaid pier. There were probably 50 poles in the water for people who were fishing for spanish mackeral, all jigging. I walk past from bucket to bucket, but only saw about 10 keepers through the whole lot. The fish are small. I did see two pompano though, both small also. I just wanted to give everyone the low down if you're pier fishing out of MB.
