Is there anyplace "HOT" right now? I need to hear some good fishing stories.... I'm really starting to miss the Bay and AI and the Tank.

Talked to Jason last night around 11:45PM on his cell at Solomons. His said nothing but dinks so far. He was headed for PAX with greater anticipation. Fishing is slow everywhere in the mid bay. Trout and blues haven't arrived in any numbers yet. Because of the weird weather we've been having everything is late. I think everyone is waiting for the Fall fishing. Jason and me are heading up in Severn River at day break tomorrow morning to cast some top water's for rock along some old piers and deadfalls. After that we're headed across the bay to Matapeake and look for that "HONEY HOLE" you we telling him about. In shore reports along the coast have been good. The colder water has been holding rock in the inlets and in the surf. Hope they're still there ant the end of the month when I go on vacation.

Still looking for that Korean bride I ordered? Fishing is hit or miss up and down the coast. Like catman stated, there have been all sorts of weird weather patterns and environmental phenomena this year. Since I've pretty much missed out on fishing, this seems to have been the year to miss. I'm hoping everything comes together by October... Otherwise its going to be a long wait until the January Outdoor Show! Good luck, and let us know if you find a place to fish....

The deal is no trout yet, blues are starting to come in and the rockfish are still around in small numbers. Crazy year my friend and I guess it wasn't a bad one to go to korea. That is unless we slay the striper and trout in the fall Can't wait till your midtour to get some fishing in with you again!

Not that it will help ya'll up north, and knowing me, I'll end up skunked, but going to do some early evening/maybe into morning fishing today weather permitting.

Sorry all. Before I left I prayed to the fishing gods that they put a curse on FL Fisherman so that he would not beat my spring Rock. It must of been too stong of a prayer, its seemed to have rubbed off on everyone. If you all promise to leave me some for when I get back this fall I will talk to the fishing gods and ask them to give you all a break. lol

Yeah you did something cause since you left fishing has been so so. I mean I did well this weekend at PAX but other than that has been kind of slow for me. Don't worry I plan on beating your spring striper this fall, but you will know because you will be there

Or maybe not I plan on going on a charter next week and MJ says they get some nice striper and even the occasional large red drum. Anthony said he would bring me on a tog trip so when you finally get back I might be killing you on the fish.

Now don't get too fired up -- after all, we'll sort of be cheating by using one of them there boat thingies. It is a little easier when the color chart puts you right over their heads!

Tog (blackfish) trip sounds good, as long as the weather's not too darn cold. These old bones of mine get stiffer than a 200lb mono leader soaked in Viagra. Hopefully you and Anthony will keep me and Ed in mind when you plan your trip. I did want to try wrestling some tog out of the IRI rocks next Spring, but some of the descriptions of the inlet are downright scarey! Its hard getting a tog to leave a wreck, but its a fight to the finish when he's trying to get back under the rock you're standing on!
