Flipped a mental quarter Wednesday night. Heads, I would go fishing on Thursday, Tails, I would stay home and do yardwork.

Yardwork won. I started about 10:00 am

I somehow managed to annoy a nest of spiders, one of which nailed me on the top of my right foor.

10 minutes later I was in full-blown anaphlactic shock.

My skin felt like it was on fire, and my hands and feet itched terrbily. I took 4 Benedryl tablets and hoped for the best.

When my lips went numb and I was having trouble swallowing, the "macho" spirit left me and I made a bee-line for the nearest Emergency Room before my trachea slammed shut.

I talked to the ER Triage nurse for about 30 seconds, and within about 5 minutes, I was in a room with a big-bore IV in me pumping in meds.

Left the hospital at about 6:00

Next time, I don't care what comes up on the coin toss....

I'm a goin' fishin!!!

WOW, glad to hear that they got it under control, some of them bites can be nasty........Definately pick fishing over yard work, that is a win win situation!!!

See what happens when you cross the fishing gods???? I've used that excuse before: "I don't want to do yard work. I could DIE out there!" My significant other never fell for it, but now I have proof! Thank you, Mark.
